Het tarief voor dividenduitkeringen aan dga’s bedraagt in 2019 25%. In 2020 gaat dit tarief omhoog naar 26,25% en in 2021 naar 26,9%. De tariefstijging van box 2 van de inkomstenbelasting hangt samen met de verlaging van de tarieven in de vennootschapsbelasting voor de winsten van de bv. Het tarief voor de eerste € 200.000 winst bedraagt in 2019 19%, in 2020 16,5% en in 2021 15%. Voor het deel van de winst vanaf € 200.000 is het tarief in 2019 en 2020 25% en in 2021 21,7%.

De tariefstijging in box 2 kan een aanleiding zijn om nog dit jaar een dividenduitkering te doen, bijvoorbeeld om een schuld aan de bv af te lossen. Denk wel aan de mogelijke gevolgen voor de belastingheffing in box 3 van een dividenduitkering voor de jaarwisseling.
